The 1st kind that you can use is to use your affiliate link as the thank you page. You can be sure that your visitor will be targeted as they have already showed the interest in what you have to offer by giving you their details.
The 2nd kind that you can use is to create your own thank you page. This will be another page of your website where you will redirect them to. You will put in your name, photo, additional information on what they can expect from you and the promotion of the affiliate product etc. This can be a effective method as you will be branding yourself so that they will be familiar with you and you can make use of this chance to presell the product to them.
