Predict the Winner of Britain

29 May 2008 Online social betting game, Pikum, challenges fans of Britains Got Talent to back their favourite performer ahead of Saturdays final. At www.pikum.com join other viewers and put your support behind acts such as Andrew Johnston, Strike or the Cheeky Monkeys. Pikum is a game where you play against the other players, with the person making the best predictions winning the prize pool. It can be played for fun, or money.

Pikum, which launched in May, lets you join existing games, or if none of the existing Pikums on the site grab you, create your own game inviting your family and friends to predict outcomes such as:

1. Who will win Britains Got Talent this season?
2. Will this seasons winner of Britains Got Talent be a musical talent?
3. Will the winner of this seasons Britains Got Talent be a male / a group consisting of a male?
4. Will the winner of this seasons Britains Got Talent be 14 years old of younger?

Simply pick what you think is going to happen on the night and the closest prediction overall will take the prize pool. Pikum can be played either for the fun bragging currency, Pikles, or for money.

Players that create their own games on the site for money also get a percentage of the prize from Pikum. If no-one gets all their predictions absolutely right in the game then the closest player wins the pot, meaning that the money always goes to a player and never to the house.

Sean Glass, founder and managing director of Pikum!, says, Its always fun to compete with your friends to see who can predict whats going to happen on shows like Britains Got Talent. Now its easy to do so with Pikum.

Other events that you can create an play Pikums on include football, rugby, formula one, boxing, and mixed martial arts, with Pikum continuing to add events in the entertainment, sports, and current events categories weekly.

Pikum! launched in beta on 6 May and can be played at www.Pikum.com.
