How to create a residual income through affiliate marketing
Do you know that the only way you can create a residual income online is through promoting programs that have recurring charges. Why did i say that? This is because through recurring charges products such as membership sites, hosting services, autoresponders and many more, you will be paid monthly once someone sign up the product or service through your referer link.
THIS IS WHAT I CALL RESIDUAL INCOME: Do it once and get paid as long as the person stay as a member.
With this in mind, i am going to share with you the 3 factors i use during the search for good products to promote.
1) Track Record: For you to promote a membership program or any online mlm program that pays you recurring commission, you must make sure that the program is there for quite some time and it is set up by a person who is trustworthy. This is because i had this experience of earning a residual income of $5,000 per month from a program and then one day the program is shut down and it costs me $60,000 per annum of commission. From then on, i only promote program that have good feedback and track records only
2) Product Range: The type of products or services that your membership or online mlm program have is very important as it will determine if it can gives true value to the person you introduce this to and it will reflect directly on your reputation. Remember this: It takes several years to build good reputation and one day to destroy them. If you are serious about this business, you must be true to yourself and your leads by promoting them products that are great and useful.
3) Breakeven Volume: This is a very important factor if you are going for membership or online mlm program that requires you to sign up as a member before you can promote the services or products to your leads. First of all, i will always calculate how many sales must i make to breakeven with my monthly payment for that program. The most ideal one is between 2 - 3 and i can say all the program i am promoting now can allow me to break even simply by introducing 2 or 3 signups.
