Editorial Reviews
Amazon.com Review This solidly constructed, stylish-looking dehumidifier features a powerful reciprocating compressor and castor wheels, which make it easy to move from room to room. Drying out musty bedrooms, bathrooms, or kitchens doesn't take long with the dehumidifier's ability to extract up to 30 pints of moisture out of the air per day. An indicator warns when its 6-1/2-liter-capacity water tank is full, while automatic overflow protection shuts the device down until the water bucket is emptied. For efficiency, its humidistat sensor automatically maintains desired humidity levels, and for added convenience, its upward dry-air outlet allows for drying clothes. An easy-access carbon filter fits neatly in the back. The unit measures 16-1/2 by 12 by 26-3/4 inches. --Catie Unger

Customer Reviews Read 5 more reviews... OK, BUT PROBLEMS WITH HUMIDISTAT January 11, 2007 I Love To Shop!!! 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
As far as taking water out of the air, this unit does fine. I have had problems with the humidistat/control panel since purchasing this unit. I have called customer service 3 times and each time they have sent me a new control panel. Once installed, the unit works fine for like 1 day and then the same problem happens again! Sooooo frustrating! The problem is, the fan runs constantly. It is supposed to shut off when the air reaches the humidity set, but the unit will not shut off! I have had this unit for a few months. I with I had returned it when I had the chance. Today I placed an order for a Frigidaire model that I hope will be better.
It keeps working! December 20, 2006 Lisa Cothron (Lafayette, TN)
I've had this dehumidifier for well over a year, maybe two. I usually have to empty morning and night, depending on the humidity. I use the outlet that blows hot air to dry clothes hung on a rack. It looks good to use in my office, and it is very effective. I would definitely buy another and am seriously considering it, since I need one in two different parts of my building. It does have wheels, which makes moving it much easier.
Great product for the price August 30, 2006 Frankie Kam (San Francisco, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product drains water like you would not believe. I live in the South San Francisco area which is not that humid but I have to empty the container 4 times a day. Only complain is when Amazon.com sent me the product the product box was damage, lucky the goods where ok.
Works Very Well July 16, 2006 R. Stear (St Louis) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We used this in the lower level of a split level home. It got pretty damp at times and this worked very well. I think it's an excellent untit and would recommend it.
Same problem as F.Baez January 7, 2006 J.Morri (Palm Beach, FL. USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this dehumidifier over two months ago and it has not worked at all. Customer service has told me more than once that my replacement 'humidistat' would be delivered in two weeks. I am still waiting, it has been eight weeks. My advice would be to do business with another company or find another product elsewhere.
