I've been using this device now off & on 6 months and I couldn't be happier with anything simpler. For PowerPoint presentations this was the first and easiest device for me to use in a large room. I'm still a little shaky with the Laser Pointer but I've found that I don't use it that often anyway. Since I don't use it everyday (and I remember to turn the device off)the batteries are still the original. I love the little carrying bag included with it! If not for that, I'd loose track of the USB connector.
Perfect for a teacher! December 20, 2008 D. Hoover
I enjoy using this when I'm presenting from our textbook's slide show. I'm a math teacher and it was really a hinderance to be stuck to the keyboard when I needed to be moving around the room checking student answers. The battery that came with the remote is still going strong after three weeks because I'm careful to turn it off when I'm finished. Enjoy!
Doesn't fail unless you break the battery cover December 17, 2008 Phil (Michigan)
If you don't mind the loud clicking, this is a very good, simple powerpoint presenter. It acts as Page up and Page down. The laser pointer is bright enough. The battery cover is a little tricky getting it on and off, but use some scissors or similar to help you. Plug and play, yes. Also includes black screen button. Don't remember to turn it on on the side, but that definitely didn't happen to me, haha
High School Teacher Thinks it is great November 26, 2008 KB (Charlotte)
The product goes back and forth through ppt screens, that is all I needed it for. The laser is helpful too.

The buttons make a very loud clicking sound when pressed, quite distracting. Laser is weak. It does move the presentation foward and backward.Spend a few more dollars and get a better presenter.
