Well worth the money March 6, 2008 D. Nelson (Cary, NC United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered this a little over a month ago and received it quickly and in good shape. The install was very simple and took less than 15 mins with a drywall hand saw, tape measure, stud finder and cordless drill. The hardest part of the install was determining where it should be located and if it would work in that spot. (eg: was there plumbing/electrical) My only complaint about the product is that the unlocking dial appears to be plastic. While it does work as expected - I question it's durability over time.
Disappointing February 22, 2008 J. Dillon 5 out of 11 found this review helpful
I received it today. There were two shelf brackets, a screw, a washer, and a red plastic piece lying inside the safe along with the shelves and some foam strips. It is obvious that the shelf brackets were once attached to the side of the safe since there was weld residue where they were once attached that matched the residue on the brackets. I installed the batteries per instructions and then looked for the "red button" to push so I could set the combination. The red button was not to be found; I assume it was the red plastic piece that was lying in the safe. There was a hole that looked like it could be where the "red button" was so I stuck a piece of wire inside to see if that would allow setting the combination. No luck. So, it's more than useless to me since now I will have to pack it up and send it back and try to get my money back.
