It is blindingly bright. I am not looking directly into it of course but the laser dot is so bright. Also, when you point it into the sky outside in the dark, the beam is very visible unlike the Red laser which you can barely tell.

This is the best pointer I have ever used. Powerful and the green really highlights for emphasis what you are pointing out.

I first thought it was my NiMh rechargeable batteries causing the fading but in fact it's just a poor laser pointer; the batteries are providing plenty of power. I bought this because of the low price. Not surprising, this is made in China and the warranty period is short. This laser is inferior to $30-50 lasers in every way. Buy three of these or one good one.

So far so good though the beam has lost a bit of it's brightness....hard to tell whether it's a defect or if it's bkz I dropped it! For the price, it's hard to beat.

I was concerned that the brightness of the laser would not be good with such a low price, but I ordered it anyway. I tore the box open when it arrived, popped the batteries in and WHOA! This laser is great! It is as bright or brighter than one that I purchased several years ago and paid over $100.00 from another store. I purchased this for a friends b-day and I know it will not disappoint. I ordered the Green Laser Pointer on Monday night & received it on Thursday with express shipping.
